The first snow

Look at this scenery. Last night the first snow started to fall down and by this morning the whole ground was covered with the white blanket. The nature looks so stunning now and what a light floods through the windows.
Here is my self made velvet coat which I introduced here once before on a dummy. Those shoes I bought yesterday from a flea market and a bag is second hand aswell.
Now I run to a gym and after that I start to spend a weekend. I wish you all have the wonderful weekend!

  2. There is such a sense of magic and wonder to the first snowfall. It silences and yet also awakens the world in ways that all but forgotten when the ground is bare of snow. If summer must end, then I'm eager for snow to return here again and look forward to following your lovely lead and taking snaps in it once more.

  8. You look great and these photos are awesome.
I haven't seen real snow for ages. All you get in winter, here in the middle of Nuremberg, Germany, are loads of annoying mud. Grrrr. -.-
    Have a nice sunday evening!

  9. I am already afraid of snow coming and praying for it not to appear too quicly this year. Last Winter we had two months of non-stopping snow, which is wuite a lot for me as I am not used to it at all (we don´t have lots of snow in Spain, but now I live in Bucharest and it is completely different).

By the way, your handmade coat looks stunning to me. I am only wondering, isn´t the weather too cold for velvet? I suposse this cutie is made of a more consistant material too? Just curious! :)

    1. And I nearly hope it would come more snow ;D (although it means I can't wear my favorite shoes)

Thanks! No it's not too cold for velvet at all. Material is really quality including lining and the coat is loose enough so that I can hide pullovers under it if needed :P

  11. Perfection. How did you make the coat? Did you happen to get any pics of the process? It is perfect. That cut and style would flatter every figure, even mine. I would love one like that
