Decor dreams

I've visited regularly flea markets now nearly every week and mostly I've been looking for decoration things like frames and candlesticks, but I've made also awesome extempore findings that I hadn't planned on having. Nearly all purchases are antique which pleases my eyes the most like this the most beautiful frame I have:
Actually I didn't find this in the flea market, but it's the second hand antique picture frame from a local antique collector and it is really beautiful! I have a plan to paint a picture for it by myself. I was thinking of a deer skull or a deer, I'm not sure yet. I also found another frame in the jumble sale, but it's smaller and simple. We had a little difficulties while picking up this; we got stuck in the snow by a car! Fortunately one man came to help us and we were able to go on.  It was snowing heavily and the road was not plowed.
This lamp was random purchase, but it was so cute and not expensive so I had to buy it. It fits well in my decor. I laughed a few days ago that my decor is a mixture of Ikea and antique, but it looks good to my eyes which is the most important thing. I saw a really beautiful rococo sofa in the flea market, actually there was loads of rococo furniture and I cursed to need that wooden house to get them all to fit. The rococo sofa would be nice, but I don't want to give away my sofa which is comfy as hell although it's slightly worn. I bought it when I moved to my first own flat at the age of 19 so there is some history behind it.

Winter magic

On Sunday morning I jumped on a bus and traveled to my favorite area of the city where I actually resided before (or really close it). It was such a beautiful and glacial weather and the trees looked dreamy. I have tried to take every moment over the beautiful nature when for once it is a decent winter. I could be photographing all the time, but obligations are calling. Tomorrow this all is probably gone if there is some belief in a forecast which promised plus degrees.
As a smart girl I forgot to pull wool socks on and you can surely imagine how numb my toes got after wandering a few hours in the frost. I don't do that same mistake anymore. I had four shirts on and two pairs of tights and that was a pretty good survival kit.
It's kind of a shawl that I moved across the city and these corners do not belong to my daily views anymore, but I'm happy with the current location still and the current dwelling just stole a piece of my heart even if it's not an old creaky wooden house which I'm dreaming of. And besides I can always easily to travel here by the bus or even by foot.

Love song

Me and my other half had our 5th anniversary yesterday so in honor of that I painted my lips red and put a pencil skirt on. Can't believe it's already our 5th year together, this time flies madly and it scares me.
It happened to be a day off so I was free to spend the day like I wanted. We ended up going to have drinks to a local sky bar (I like high places and I could stare at the horizon forever). After beverages we picked up pizzas and watched The Damned documentary which was fun and interesting. My other half saw it already a few years ago when it was released, but I haven't seen it earlier. I absolutely recommend you to watch it if a theme interests you. At least it made me chuckle a lot and I could watch it anew.
My love gave me my favorite flowers, red roses of course. Unfortunately they always die too quickly.
Day's outfit consisted of a pencil skirt and a very old knitting and of course a beret was on a head once again.  (Actually I watched the red beret in the store yesterday, but I didn't buy it so far. But it could be nice.)
A view from the Sky bar. It was snowy weather so it was damn difficult to capture a decent picture. I've been there only in the daytime earlier so it was nice to see the city and its lights. All in all it was the lovely day and I hope we get more these days in the future.

You went straight into the dark

I've been dead tired today and  been just rotting on the couch after the work. I hate when the energy level is zero and there would be loads of interesting affairs to do, but it's purely my own fault. I could go sleep early, but I'm a child of the night which means that I'm getting energetic just before the night. On the other hand I've been quite productive for the past days and brought about all kind of things so this tiredness is kind of very understandable.

Instead of whining I introduce you an outfit from the other day. After a long period I decided to put on a corset. I should do a new PVC corset because this old one is everything but close-fitting. PVC is still one of my favorite material in the corsets and very splashy all in all. Vinyl leggings would be wearable too.

A lovely bird skull brooch which I rarely wear because I'm afraid of breaking it.

Corset: diy, Skirt: Flea market, Shirt: H&M, Brooch: WGT
One painting project I made recently. I made a day of 12 hours last week and after that I went to buy new acrylic paints because I was inspired and the old paints were dried up since the last painting time. I'm quite happy with the result and can't wait for getting it onto the wall.
Me and my loved went to see Star Wars on Sunday and if I describe it in one word it is brilliant. Suitably humorous, gloomy and unexpected and not forgetting a visual flair. Definitely a worth of 3 d. I would like to reveal some parts of the plot, but I don't do that. There is surely people who have not seen it and I don't want to spoil. I should visit the cinema diligently this spring because I got a bunch of tickets as a birthday gift from my beloved and they should be used by May. Hope there goes something worth watching.

Opus Dei

I was off yesterday and what a wonderful winter day it was (like it was also today). Right after a cup of morning coffee, I took my camera and headed out to capture landscapes pictures. I didn't plan a route beforehand, I just walked ahead and found some new places, worth of pictures. Eventually after two hours my fingers were so frozen that I needed to return home and twist the fingers around a hot tea mug. I would have wanted to wander more outdoors, but it's always the same story, the fingers die.
Cemetery looked wonderful in white.  Hope this beauty won't disappear too soon.
I found a beautiful statue which I haven't noticed before.
This coat is still one of my favorite winter overcoats. Unfortunately it's not made by myself. And naturally, a beret is on.

A New year got me into a whirl immediately and that's why my absence. Just a few days have gone, but my mind is already tumbled about the thoughts and choices.  I do hope this year brings joy and not sorrow. Last year was quite okay even though some darker clouds shaded a life in the summer.

I didn't promise any special resolutions this year. I do continue my gym work-out as I did last year (I visited 122 times the gym). I'm going to focus on art, sewing and photography, reading of the books and so on. Less computer and more real life ;D That's what I always promise.

I spent New Year Eve at Vastavirta where was performing a bunch of bands. I was quite tired and didn't pour much alcohol through a throat during that night, but I took a lot  of photos instead.
I've burnt a lot of candles while trying to solve my thoughts. Positive troubles.
I have a deep crow and cat fever. Hope I find some relief soon ;) By the way I watched one of my favorite film The Crow a week ago and it's still pure love. A long time has gone since I watched it last.
I wish you happy New Year! Let it bring some joy with.
