Oh dear November

It's time to say goodbye to October and say hello to November the darkest month of a year. Yesterday we were celebrating Halloween at Club Bella Morte. Most people were dressed up nicely, but I have been so busy that I didn't have time to plan any costume. In addition I've been ill again so there has no been energy to think of celebrating at all and I was quite insecure if I attend any parties this year. However I decided to defy the flu and so I picked up the simplest black dress that I was able to find in my closet and decorated it with a veil and hat. It worked fine and I was happy with it. Perhaps the next year I could try to invent something more interesting. How was your Halloween?

One workday left and on Tuesday I will get on a plane to fly to Spain. So this year I will spend my birthday (4th November) abroad which suits me better as well. Huh 29 sounds so much. The next year when I turn to 30 it would be nice to take a journey somewhere. I'm dreaming of New York, but don't know if it ever happen.

  1. You look gorgeous, loved the hat! Well, I celebrated halloween at home in a very discreet way, in Brazil we don´t have the culture to celebrate, so, ended up being something very personal between friends. Hope you have a great trip to Spain and a happy 29 years!

    1. Halloween is quite fresh thing also in Finland. Ten years ago none of my friends did celebrate it, but nowadays even children arrange parties ^^ Thank you :)

  5. This year, I did my most elaborate costume ever (I usually don't dress up much on Halloween, I prefer Schwarzer Reigen over the year :) you can see it here - even if it's not the best picture they took this evening: https://scontent-vie1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xtf1/v/t1.0-9/11260689_1040167979347701_7728162728337487825_n.jpg?oh=87ee3b451859e2d1a276dfbf78a2c7ec&oe=56B11C69 - I'm on the right side). I even managed to build up a Fan in my hair, decorated with black roses, and wore a feathered bolero and victorian Skirt.
And with all that wonderfully gothic attire, I attended a party which wasn't gothy at all, it was rather gay :)
I even painted my nail tips black and the nail and skin around dark red, like I had dipped my fingers in blood, and because it was not very warm, I wore super long gloves half of the evening...

    lovely greetings from Austria!
