Black Yule

This Yule was black literally, it has been raining here all the time, the last time I visited outdoors was on Monday when I arrived at here. It would be nice to get jogging but I don't want to be like a drowned cat thus I've entertained myself during these days by watching some old comedies and playing the board games with the youngest brother of mine. I've also studied German and designed a new collection which I'll try to manufacture during the spring if only I found the fabrics. In addition I've spent too much time by dreaming of a trip to Berlin. I've studied German many years but I have never had a chance to pay a visit there. Maybe that could be my silent promise for the new year which will turn soon!

I arrived at my parents' place a few hours ago and I'm so tired having slept only some hours last night. I had a blood test early in the morning (at 7am) so I didn't have much time for sleeping (well we watched some horror films through the night). I'll take a sauna and probably a sleep comes quickly after that. It is nice to see the cats again, the kittens have grown up a lot and they are so cute! The weather isn't christmassy at all, it's raining and the wind is blowing at speed but we have many candles around the house which bring the light. But now I'll continue watching a film and I wish you all Merry Christmas!

Between silence and death

I bought a new lip gloss a few days ago and it's excellent. I buy new makeup rarely and more rarely I buy the lip glosses especially if they cost more than 10 euros but this shade was so juicy that I couldn't avoid it. It's from IsaDora and the shade is: Cabaret Red, if some of you is willing to know. The product is long lasting and even though they recommend to use a lip liner with it, I didn't use and it stayed still pretty well.

We visited watching The Hobbit yesterday and what can I say. In a visual way the film was candy for the eyes but the plot doesn't make progress much if thinking about the length of the film. The same problem was with the first part which lasts about three hours, the narrative crawls too slowly. There is different battle scenes which change from one to another but they can't take the plot forward. The dragon was definitely well done. The end was a bit poor, the film ended to the wall and now we need to wait a year for seeing the last part. If I could give the stars I would give three. 

Satyricon & Chthonic

Wednesday's outfit

On Wednesday I headed for the club again. This time I went to see Satyricon and  Chthonic. The latter orchestra was totally unknown to me, (at least they have a sweet bassist). The band comes from Taiwan, I'm not sure, have I heard anything earlier which comes from there. However I was curious to see something new and the band was actually pretty good. Satyricon is my old friend, I've seen them live once before some years ago and the gig was good at the time so I decided to go to see them now again. Slightly heavier music this time. I think that their new song 'Phoenix' is awesome even if it's really atypical for this band. Pure vocal and Satyricon together, what? Unfortunately they didn't play that song which I also knew having checked out their setlist in advance. I haven't listened to their new album just at all before the gig but it seems to be interesting maybe a bit like two-piece. And I need to mention this kind of band works much better at the club than in the sunshine ;)  There was a lot of people got lost in the scene , actually more as I thought, and I managed to face also one blogger there. It's always interesting to see people in the flesh who are familiar from the Internet.

Pretty boring outfit pictures but I decided to take the pics because the lighting was better today as usually. I tested my new boots and they are not slippy like I thought. 

I read recently the great book once again: Ministry: the lost gospels according to Al Jourgensen. I waited for this book for months and borrowed it immediately from the library when it appeared there. Probably I have to buy this to my own bookcase later. The book included the final interview of Mike Scaccia and many obscure stories Ministry's career without forgetting the personal life of uncle Al. If there is Ministry fans, I recommend you to read this!

'I love the darkness in you'

Me and my beloved went to see The 69 Eyes and Sleep of Monsters last night. It was nice to get out having spent almost a month home. And what it comes to the bands it wasn't my idea even thought I listened to The 69 Eyes pretty much in my early years. My other half suggested this for me because he was interested in seeing Sleep of Monster and actually boys of 69 are his old friends. I hadn't heard their new albums at all so there was many songs which were totally unknown to me but for my delight they played some oldies aswell ;) The warm-up band was a positive surprise, some people even said it was better as those Helsinki vampires.

The Conjuring

On Thursday morning the winter arrived but unfortunately it also disappeared by the next morning. Scenery was really beautiful from my windows. It's difficult to believe that I'm living near to the city center because here is such many trees around the house. 

I ordered a few new necklace recently and here is the first one which arrived a few days ago. Lovely Ouija necklace which I found in Etsy. 

During the week I've watched eight films at least and one which was positive surprise is The Conjuring. Nowadays I relate to the horror movies with the huge suspicion. Sometimes it feels the new films repeat always the old plot and they don't offer anything new. Surely this film included also the pieces which brought to my mind The Exorcist and Amityville Horror  but as a whole the plot was able to keep my eyes open. I need to admit that I'm pretty picky with the movies.

A few pictures I took some time ago

For the last few days I have dreamed of the new camera (once again). My existing system camera starts being ready for the grave. I have taken thousands shots with it and carried it around Europe. It works still pretty well but the capacity is not enough to me thus I'd like to photograph more in the dark circumstances without tripod or flash. I have tried to save money for the new but there is still some coins to save. The next camera will be some of these: Canon 7d, 70d, or 60d. I have visited testing these many times in the stores but it's such difficult to decide. Let's see! If some of you have any experience of these and you want to share them with me go ahead! (Of course 5d mark would be awesome but it's too expensive so far)

Just one Fix?

Hello again. Dark clouds conquered my life for a bit but I try to return back to the normal life rhythm again. Obviously sometimes death visits knocking on the door but I don't want to open it for him. I've always understood that life is just a short experience and it won't last forever and this was a reminder of it. If someone didn't understand from the previous post I got an embolus which can be pretty dangerous without the fast treatment. 

 Leg feels already better and blood runs again which means that I can walk normally even with the heels! Blood counts are still upside down but maybe they will be okay some day. I'm like a voodoo doll nowadays when a whole body is filled with the needle marks. Veins disappear from the arms because they want to take the blood test twice per week but it doesn't bother me a lot, I'm just happy that I can walk again and maybe I can do some pole dancing again soon! (even if I get bruises easier now and they don't seem to heal fast....)

 Meds! You should have seen my face having heard that I need to give the injections myself every fucking day. I've always hated the needles except for the tattoo or piercing things and now I had to do it every day (not anymore during the weekend). Fortunately my other half was so kind that he agreed to do it each time so I didn't have to. I concentrated on screaming and murmuring when my love put the injection on me =D Definitely an alternative way to spend the nights. 

Day's outfit was today black and simple once again. I try to enjoy the heels as long as it's possible. At least so far the ground is ice-free.

Kuten mainitsin jalkani on temppuillut koko viikon, tänään selvisi että tilanne on pahempi kuin arvelinkaan ja todennäköisesti tulen käymään tähän astisen elämäni pahimman taistelun tulevien kuukausien aikana. Toivottavasti kaikki menee kuitenkin hyvin ja vältän kutsun 27 klubiin (aina pitää olla vähän mustaa huumoria oli tilanne mikä oli),  mutta blogi saattanee hiljentyä kunnes vointi paranee. En sikäli ole kovin heikossa kunnossa omasta mielestäni, mutta vaarallisilla vesillä seilataan. Ylimääräinen rehkintä saa nyt jäädä kunnes veri virtaa  suonissa.


Hello! Like I mentioned there has been something wrong with my leg. Today I got to know the situation is worse as I thought. Now I just fight and I hope that they don't send me an invitation to the club of 27 (black humour is always needed in all situations) I will try to come back as soon as possible, when blood runs again in veins.

A dangerous age achieved if you know what I mean ;)  It's my 27th birthday today and physically it  feels like my body is getting a mummy. Morning didn't start the way I exactly wished. I woke up when I had a terrible muscle cramp on a leg and so the rest of the day has passed pretty much by swallowing the painkillers instead of the birthday cake. Maybe it's a time to go and buy a walker ;)

Day's outfit is pretty simple. A belt is new, I bought it last week while visiting flea market, a shirt is second hand aswell and a skirt self made. Shoes are Pennangalan and I definitely should wear them more often because they are gorgeous!  Pvc combined with matte black works always. 

Everyday is Halloween

Happy Halloween for you all who are celebrating it! My Halloween has been spent quietly at least so far. I spent all hallows eve with my beloved and on Friday I watched Corpse Bride and Sweeney Todd while drinking delicious red wine. I think Sweeney is still one of the best films by Burton along with Sleepy Hollow. So no carving of the pumpkins ( even if it would have been nice on the balcony) or ugly kitsch products. Genuine candles and haunting spider webs at the corner of my roof are enough to make horror mood to me.
